Remembering Your Sacrifice

Dear Mr. Boyless,

I have become close friends, family really, with your nephew, Nathan. I wish I would have had the honor to meet you as I have met so many members of your wonderful, blessed family. It saddens me greatly that you were taken at age 20, along with so many other young men. Thank you for serving us and making the ultimate sacrifice. You will not be forgotten and I pray I see you in Heaven one day.

With Love,
Chris

Remembered

DEAR PFC BOYLESS,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRYMAN. YOU PASSED ON THE SAME DAY AS MY GRANDMOTHER. SAY HI TO HER, HER NAME IS CIV. IT IS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, BUT ON ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

My great uncle

Even though you died before I was born and we never met, I love you very much. My grandpa is your brother Richard. I have heard lots of stories of you and all of your siblings when you guys were kids. I just wanted to let you know that I will never forget what you did for our country.

With lots of love,
Marissa
