It has come to my attention that there are several stories floating around about my uncle Mick's death. My uncle stepped only land mine which blew the entire lower half of his body off causing instantaneous death. When they shipped his body home the coffin was nailed shut from the waist down. He never made it to a hospital nobody could have survived the catastrophic injuries that he sustained. Please do not repeat stories that are not true.

Dear Sgt Michael Thomas, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. Your 53rd anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another summer. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
