Thank You

Dear Cpl Gregory Thomas, Thank you for your service as a Warehouse Clerk. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering My Friend

Wayne we were casual friends in High School and I was Barry's age. We were together on two different occasions at the Naval Support Hospital in Danang when you came through and we became good friends during that time. I enjoyed getting to know you better and catching up on some home news. It was always good to see a home boy. We were going to meet one more time when you came through on your way home and exchange some gear but you got your wings before it could happen. I think and talk about you often and miss getting to continue our friendship one we got home.

My uncle!

Maaaaaaan, this is all unraveling now. I'm finding out so much more information. I've had a couple of his pictures for years. My dad was so crushed by his death, that we rarely talked about Wayne. My dad always called him uncle wayne. Never called him him gregory. Having it unfold right now is a crazy feeling. Probably the closest I've ever felt to him and I never even got yo meet him. RIP uncle wayne. I can't wait to meet you now!
