THE WALL OF FACES

My father, Joe D. Ray, was Larry's pastor at 66th St. Baptist Church in Birmingham. I was only 7 at the time, but through the years heard my parents speak of that being one of the hardest funerals in which he ever participated, and what a fine young man Larry was. May God continue to bless his memory.

Cpl. Larry Boyer, you will never be forgotten by those of us who were with you on this fateful day in 1969. You were an awesome member of 2nd Platoon’s 3rd Squad. Later today, Lt. Enyeart and I will be drinking a toast in honor of you, Cpt. Denney and our other fallen brothers. All of you remain in our thoughts and prayers. Until we meet again, SSG Ron Trewyn
