honoring you.....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just three days after your 23rd birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Michael Tessaro, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

family

My husband would be your nephew, Your brother Larry was his father. He never got the chance to meet you but has always thought about you and the great sacrifice that you made for our country. Our son is now currently serving in the Army, guess its in the family. I wish we could have a picture of you to add to our wall but alas we do not. You are thought about daily.

Ed Lapinskas from Ft. Ord days

We were best of friends at Ft. Ord AIT. Mike was the greatest guy you could ever meet. Personable and a real friend. He had the lower bunk and I had the upper berth. He told me, one day, that he had a wife and child.

One day when I came back from a combat mission I picked up a copy of the Army Times. As I scanned the pages I noticed they had a list of those who were killed in action for that week. There I saw Mikes name. It hit me like a bolt of lightening to the heart. You cannot imagine how deeply saddened I was. Even all these years later I have still been able to remember Mike and his positive attitude armed with good nature. May the Lord God almighty forever bless and keep your Spirit Mike.
