Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Well John, It's cousin Greg. Veterans Day is here again and we still miss you every day. At your funeral I promised your mom that if I ever had a son we would name him after you. After two tours and twelve years later we had a baby boy "On Memorial Day" and named him John after you! Not only was he born on memorial Day, but he ended up being an aerospace engineer named after John Apollo Tesauro. Talk about carma. By the way, as an Army guy I was given a marine coin to carry for a free beer. I am saving it for you, when we meet again. Your cuz, Greg

Dear PFC John Tesauro, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. The 54th anniversary of the start of your tour is soon. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Independence Day just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

On the remembrance of your 71st birthday, and as Christmas approaches, your sacrifice is not forgotten.
