THE WALL OF FACES

The days of our childhood, it's now we recall them
They cling to our visions whereever we go
The friends of our youth we will never forget them
Especially our dear classmate Barney Boyer.
The happy memories you invoke; the chuckles; the tears.
You have been in our thoughts all these years and as we age you are still the best looking boy in our class. Forever Young!! Forever our pride!! Forever remembered by us all. Semper Fi!!!!!

Too soon gone, Never Forgotten

Barney was a fun loving guy who was a relative on my mother's side. he and his fellow Marines visited us while on leave from Camp Pendleton. He enjoyed swimming with us and the BBQ's my parents would throw when he came up to visit. though I was just a little guy , he always took time out to play with my brother, me and my sisters. We would go to Huntington beach Ca and he always made sure we little guys came along and had fun.

I recall him in his uniform and it was difficult to fathom such a nice individual could be killed a few months after seeing him having so much fun at our house.
