Thank You

Dear Sp4 Gordon Terrell, Thank you for your service as a Flight Qualified Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Monday was Independence Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Never met and never forgotten

Vietnam took your life before we ever had the chance to meet, but you have always been remembered. I have visited your resting place many times over the years, be at peace knowing that mom is there with you for always.

Gordon Terrell remembered by his fellow soldiers

The black and white military picture of Gordon Terrell in his field uniform came from the book MY GIFT TO YOU, which includes the stories and pictures of American soldiers who died in Vietnam while serving with the 3rd Battalion, 506th Infantry (the Currahees), 101st Airborne Division. The pictures were allowed for use for the Faces Never Forgotten project by the author and fellow Currahee soldier Jerald "Jerry" Berry.
