Thank You

Dear Cap Donald Templeton, Thank you for your service as an HNH Helicopter Pilot. The 54th anniversary of the start of your tour just passed. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Monday was Independence Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it still needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Gone but NOT forgotten

My dad served with Captain Templeton in Vietnam. He didn't like talking about those days, but he did talk about his Captain with fond memories. On the few occasions when they had leave they traveled together. It was/is wonderful to put a face to the name. My dad made sure we wouldn't forget his buddy. Captain Templeton may be gone, but he is not forgotten. We will continue to share their stories.

First Love

I met Don in college at Tenn. Tech. He was in a rock band and I loved watching him. We maintained contact on and off for years till a planned reunion that never happened. What a lovely human being he was. After all this time, I still have moments of remembrance and missing him.
