A good brother

James or Jimmy as we called him was raised by my mom and dad and considered them his parents. Growing up he was my co-conspirator, best friend and protector. He would pester the heck out of me but no one else better, lol. He was such a turd but I loved him with all my heart .I had just started dating when he got drafted and that was hard. I gurantee you I was always home on time, least they had to answer to him. I was the last person in our family to see him before he shipped out to Viet Nam other than his wife and I wished I had given him one more hug. I recieved two letters from him after we were notified he had been killed, they were postmakded the morning of that day. Those were the two hardest letters I ever had to read. Later on I had them framed and gave them to his son who was 7 days old when JImmy got killed. I still miss him and will always "Wonder" what he would have been like. I hope he is still singing Alley-oop-oop and and wearing that yellow rose of Texas in his hat band. What sweet memories, love you brother.
