Friends at Montauk AFS, Montauk, NY

We were stationed together. We spent many night shifts together. Although we were from completely different backgrounds we became friends. I remember many of our conversations about life. Especially about reenlisting. I decided to get out and you re-uped! You are always in my heart and thoughts my Brother!

Remembered

DEAR SERGEANT BOYD,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE. I DO NOT KNOW YOUR MOS, ONLY THAT YOU WERE AIR FORCE, LIKE MY DAD. MEMORIAL DAY IS APPROACHING, BUT ON ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.
