honoring you....
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank You
Dear PFC Willian St John, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 47th anniversary of the last battle of the war just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Battle buddies
My identical twin brothers (PFCs Dee Troy and Dee Roy Tate)served in the USMC with PFC St. John. In 1968 they met in Boot Camp at Parris Island. Later the trio went on to Infantry Tactics Training at Camp Lejeune. In letters home they'd write about PFC St. John's great sense of humor. And in Vietnam PFC St. John and my brother Troy served together. Both my brothers are now deceased, but I'll always remember their fond stories of their buddy William St. John. I'd like to have known this marine!
