If I should die...remembrances for CAPT. Armand Alvin SYLVESTRE, USA...who died for our country!!!!!
If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like thers, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembing hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchnace, may therein comfort you.

I'll Never Forget...
"Syl."
He and I attended Syracuse University together--lived in the "married students housing complex," were on the boxing team, and were both "vets" (he of the Air Force; me of the Marines).
Two of my children have the same first names as his children.
I just can't believe he's no longer with us.

Remembering the Soldiers
For my history class at Gridley High School of Gridley, IL we were asked to recognize those who gave their life for our country in the time of war. For this I would like to thank Armand Alvin Sylvestre for giving his life for our country. It was a great sacrifice that will never be forgotten.
