I think of you and our sweet baby son often. Rest in peace together.

So many years have past since part of me died along with you. What would the years have been like if we could have shared them together? Age has crept up on me but you have remained young because when I think of you thats how I remember
you. Til we see each other again

Chuck, I was the Marine who escorted you back home from California to Michigan on 2/17/67. I was just 20 at that time and recently back from Nam, your family treated me so well and I know that they miss you to this day. I will never forget bringing you home. Semper Fidelis and rest well!

Dear Sir,
I am posting remembrances for courageous soldiers like you as part of the Gridley High School Posting Project. I would like to thank you for your unselfish commitment to liberty. I am forever in debt to you for your willing and noble service of our country. Your sacrifice for the sake of freedom will never be forgotten.
