Thank you Captain Bowman
Captain Bowman: Thank you for serving our country. Your father was a teacher at Aragon High School in 1971, where I was a student. Your death touched us very deeply. We played taps in your honor with our hands on our hearts. As I recall, we planted a tree in your honor and placed a plaque nearby. I said a prayer of thanks to your and your fellow soldiers at the Vietnam Memorial wall in Washington, DC. God bless you. You will never be forgotten.

Remembered
DEAR CAPTAIN BOWMAN,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRY UNIT COMMANDER. MONDAY WAS THE 42ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE MAYAQUEZ INCIDENT - THE LAST BIG BATTLE OF THE WAR BIG SIGH. MEMORIAL DAY IS APPROACHING, BUT ALL DAYS WE SHOULD HONOR YOU. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.
