Thank you for your service. I want to remember you because you sacrificed your life for the freedom and safety of our country. I am a student from FFMS and I'm honored to write this remembrance.

I am an 8th grader at Felix Festa middle school, and today I had an opportunity to speak with veterans from the Vietnam War. They gave me a piece of the flag with your name on it. Your bravery inspires me. I appreciate the way you stood up for our country when you were needed. You are my inspiration for my bravery. I may not have known you, but I know your bravery.

I can't begin to understand the impact of your loss on your family and friends but I can understand how loved you were. There isn't a day where you aren't missed. Thank you for your heroic deeds in serving our country. Rest in power Mr. Studway. Thank you for your service.
