Dear Sp4 Dewey Struebing, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was Memorial Day, and we honor you. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

William Carmack of Dallas, Texas served with Dewey in Vietnam, Co. D 1/506 Inf.
Remembers Dewey as being a good fried as well as a good mentor. Dewey and his good friend from Chicago, Kotarsic (phonetic spelling) were shot the same night. Dewey died and the friend survived, but the rest never saw him again."..can still see his face and all the rest. You can never forget this experience." Thanks William Carmack for you memories.
