do not stand at my grave and weep....
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

My uncle Butch
I just found out about this place I could leave a memory of my uncle Butch. The last time I saw him was just a short time before he went back to vietnam. He had been working part time at foster farms in Livingston ca. very close to my home in Atwater ca. he was telling me and my older brother and sister about how he had to wring the chickens necks ( I think he was just trying to scare us). Lol. He was very close in age to my oldest brother Ben. I will never forget the day my mother (his oldest sister Shirley got the call that he had been killed. I will never forget you uncle Butch.
