Killed in Action
Spec. 4/c U.S. Army, {RA12755611}, Vietnam War-Spec. Bowers was killed in action by rocket & artillery fire on 7-27-1967 while serving as a Medical NCO with the HHC of the 2nd Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, 4th Infantry Division. Spec. Bowers started his tour of Vietnam on 3-7-1967.
Spec. Bowers is the son of Mrs. Marian Chickowsky of 375 Fountain Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.
