This amazing man was my second cousin unfortunately I was never able to meet you. Trust me when I get to heaven and I meet you Mitchell I'll hug you like I've known you for years I can't wait to sit on a old creek bank some place in the sky and fish with this man who gave his all for his country. It's truly and honor having you in my family. I love you. Ps in a few months you'll have a little cousin to watch over please do I can use all the help

Dear SGT Mitchell William Stout, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
