Thank You
Dear Jon,
I am a student at Gridley High School in Gridley, Illinois. Our class is doing a project on remembering those who gave their lives during the Vietnam War. I just wanted to thank you for serving our country and for making such a big sacrifice. You helped defend our country’s freedom and for that I am truly thankful. Your help has helped make a difference for our country. Thank you again and may God bless you and your family.
Sincerely,
Kelsey Zehr

Hero
I have heard many stories about you. Dad always says you were a real ladies man! He sure does miss you.
What a hero you are to me, Uncle Jon. Do you know my History teacher knew you in Vietnam. He told me that you saved his life. That you saved many lives.
I will forever remember your memory.
Love from your neice,
SSgt. Deanna K. Earle
