William S Stinson
I have had his bracelet since I was about 18yrs old. I am now 48yrs old. Never knew the hero, don't know why I picked his bracelet. But I just did. I will wear it until I meet him someday. Rest in peace William Stinson. You are not forgotten. Thank you for your sacrifice to our freedom. Love, William Spirk ❤️

Sherrill Stinson
My mom was a friend of William Sherrill Stinson. Everyone knew him as Sherrill. She said the last time she saw him that he said he couldn't wait to get out of Butler County, but he said he would really miss his mom. Sherrill's mom (Helen) passed away in 1995 before his remains were recovered and identified.
Yesterday, I took my mom to the traveling Vietnam Wall replica in Andalusia, Alabama. She wanted to see your name. I also saw your name on the wall in D.C. and went to your grave in Arlington. My mom speaks highly of you to this day.

Thank You
Dear SFC William Stinson, Thank you for your service as an UH-1 Helicopter Repairer. Glad you were identified in 1999. Welcome Home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 47th anniversary of the last battle of the war just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
