I will always remember

I wore Larry's bracelet in high school in th 70's and I still have it. I have 2 scrapbooks of newspaper clippings on the Vietnam War and some copies of The Voice that I subscribed to. I hope one day his family will have closure and we will never forget all the service men who sacrificed so much for our country. Kara Magill P.O. Box 242 Roachdale, IN. 46172

Not Forgotten

I have not forgotten you. I chair the Adoption Committee for The National League of Families of Prisoners of War and Missing in Action in Southeast Asia. We will always remember the 1,889 Americans still unaccounted for in Southeast Asia and the thousands of others that lost their lives. We will not stop our efforts until all of you are home where you belong.

We need to reach the next generation so that they will carry on when our generation is no longer able. To do so, we are attempting to locate photographs of all the missing. If you are reading this remembrance and have a photo and/or memory of this missing American that you would like to share for our project, please contact me at:

I still remember

About 16 years ago, I met Larry's mom in a Denny's in Ca. and she shared his story. It was one I have never forgotten. Last summer I was able to make the trip to Washington D.C. and wanted to make a rubbing. I stopped by a the stand to buy a POW flag for my classroom. My daughter wanted to buy a bracelet for a memory. She pulled the top one out of the box and said "mom this is for you" It had Larry's name on it. Since that day I have been wearing the bracelet. I teach high school US History and when we get to Vietnam I talk about Larry and tell my students his story. He will never be forgotten.
