Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever. I will ensure a wreath is placed at your headstone at the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery today.

Dear LTC Howard Stephenson, Thank you for your service as an Electronic Warfare Officer. Glad you were identified in 2008. Welcome Home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 47th anniversary of the official end of the war just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

You are in my heart and soul. I will never forget you, it is an honor to wear your bracelet every Memorial Day.

Like so many others, I also have one of your bracelets. I wore it until it cracked in the middle. I keep it in my jewelry box and hold it from time to time. I always wondered what had happened to you and now I know. Rest In Peace, Major.
