honoring you.....
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You
Dear Cpl Gary Stephenson, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 47th anniversary of the official end of the war just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I Still Remember
Most of my teen years were spent watching the nightly news of the Vietnam War on TV and feeling increasingly sad and angry at the number of young men whose lives were lost in what seemed to be a senseless war. Gary was the only person I knew who died there and I think of him every Memorial Day. He was one of my church youth group of friends, and was the kind of guy who was nice to everyone. Gary was not drafted, like countless young men were at the time. He enlisted and was proud of it. He wanted to serve his country, which wouldn't have surprised you if you knew him. He was kind, considerate, and respectful.
I'll remember you always, Gary.
