honoring you....

Remember to save for them a place inside of you, and save one backward glance when you are leaving, for the places they can no longer go...

School friend

Paul , I remember an afternoon 7th grade, where got some reason unremembered we got in a figh. No punches were thrown. We really just wrestled around. Fortunate for me because you over powered me. For the last 15 years I visit the wall to pay tribute to you and Will. I want you to know we your classmates will always remember and pay tribute to you.

Thank You

Dear PFC Paul Sender, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 47th anniversary of the official end of the war just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

My Childhood friend

Grew up with Paul in the same neighborhood. We were both drafted about the same time. Sent to Vietnam late 1967 about the same time but in different units. End of January we both experienced the TET offensive, unfortunately my frien Paul wasn’t as lucky as I was and was KIA. The picture is of Paul and brother Bill at our going away party just before we left for Vietnam. This was the last time I saw him. I do visit his grave whenever I’m in the Chicago area to honor my friend. He won’t be forgotten.
