Security
I did not know Dennis personally. But I was on the security team that secured the sight where he was when he died. I have not been able to forget this. My heart goes out to the family and friends even to this day. Sorry it took me so long.

He was one step faster than me.
On that day he came out of his room just one step ahead of me, one step to fast.

a good man
I served with Dennis in fort Stewart Ga. 1969 and 1970
before he went to Vietnam. We were good friends. Dennis like to joke around
We had good times together. before he left for Vietnam.
we were so sad to here. When we got the word he was kill in action.

Thank You
Dear Sp4 Dennis Stecker, Thank you for your service with the 118th Attack Helicopter Company. The 52nd anniversary of the start of your tour is soon. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is 47th anniversary of the official end of the war. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
