PFC Paul Ray Staton served with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Amphibious Force. He was killed by enemy mortar near Hill 158 during Operation Kingfisher (Coffelt Database).

Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Paul, I remember you from grade school as a sweet fun loving kid. My heart goes out to your family. Thank you for being so brave and protecting all of us. Your courage gave us a life which you were not allowed to enjoy. We thank you and honor your memory.
