A proud teacher of a outstanding student

It was my pleasure to be your marketing teacher at Culpeper High. Every day you showed up ready to learn. As an added treat for me was knowing that after lunch you headed to work at the A and P grocery and applied everything you learned in all your classes that day. Touching your nameplate at the Vietnam Memorial will always be a highlight in my life.
You gave your all to our country for which I will always be grateful. God bless you Thomas.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Thomas Lee Stanley, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Gone Too Soon

In rememberance of Thomas Lee Stanley whom went to high school with. I saw you go off to war, prayed you'd return, and return you did but not in the way your friends and family desired. AS I stood in the cemetery day you were buried, I prayed for the little baby you would never see.
