Thank You

Dear PFC Daniel Stands, Thank you for your service as a Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is the 47th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Bud McElroy, Fellow Soldier. Remberance

I was ordered to clear a minefield and Daniel Stands informed me he would help, "I will help you Mack", though he was not ordered to. He was a good friend. He triggered a mine and lost his leg. He survived the blast, but later passed away that day. He didn't have to help me that day, but he did.
