LEFT FOR DEAN PAUL ST PIERRE
POSTED ON 6.2.2011

If I should die...remmbrances fr CAPT. Dean Paul ST. PIERRE, USAF...who made the ultimate sacrifice!

If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MYsake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do somethin to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

Not Forgotten

I have not forgotten you. I chair the Adoption Committee for The National League of Families of Prisoners of War and Missing in Action in Southeast Asia. We will always remember the 1,889 Americans still unaccounted for in Southeast Asia and the thousands of others that lost their lives. We will not stop our efforts until all of you are home where you belong.

We need to reach the next generation so that they will carry on when our generation is no longer able. To do so, we are attempting to locate photographs of all the missing. If you are reading this remembrance and have a photo and/or memory of this missing American that you would like to share for our project, please contact me at:

The bracelet...

I still (25 yrs +)have the honor of wearing Dean's bracelet. I am a flight attendant for a major airline and I cannot tell you how many times people all over the world have asked about my bracelet. Some people simply ask the name, some share their own memories, others just tear-up and touch it (memories too painful to share?)and then there are the young who don't understand (this is my opportunity to teach). I wear Dean's name with pride, compassion and with prayer for peace in the world. My own son is now in the Army. I ask Dean to take care of him and to keep him strong in his mind, body and spirit. May God bless Dean, his family and all of us that he fought to protect...
