THE WALL OF FACES

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I was in Vietnam in 1971 and 1972 in the Air Force. I knew Ron from running Cross Country at John Carroll High School in Bel Air, Maryland, and we graduated together. I remember he was a good guy.

Dear Sp4 Ronald Spudis, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Spring. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Specialist Four Ronald Anthony Spudis was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as an Indirect Fire Infantryman and was assigned to the 1ST PLT, D CO, 1ST BN, 7TH CAVALRY, 1ST CAV DIV.
