An Old Friend
My Father grew up with Capt. Robert Boucher and he has always spoken very fondly of the years they spent together as teenagers. My dad told me Robert left behind his wife and young son to serve this country. I Regret that he never returned to them and am ever greatful for his service to this country. My husband and I recently visited the memorial, my dad has never been there, but was very surprised and greatful when I took some pictures of Robert's name ( or as my dad calls him "Bobby") and brought home a rubbing. It's going in the family photo album with some pictures my dad has from when they were young. Thank you for your service Capt. Robert Boucher.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear Captain Robert Charles Boucher, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

If I should die...remembrances for CAPT. Robert Charles BOUCHER, USA...who died for our country!!!!!
If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.
