Thank you

To all who remember. To all who shared stories of my dad with me. To all who served alongside. To those who tried to save him. Thank you. We miss him everyday, but cannot ever forget the suffering he endured on this day.

Happy Birthday

Had you lived, I would have baked you a caramel cake today. We would have gathered round and sang a hearty if off-beat version of your birthday song.

You are missed, Daddy. Not only on your birthday but everyday of the year. Love you, Karen

Thank You

I googled my name, David Spears, and I found you. My father was a Vietnam Veteran, Major Leo E. Spears. He died 6/29/2013 from a disease he contracted during his service. Maybe the two of you have met in heaven by now.

So many gave so much and most will never understand their sacrifices. You gave all, a higher price can't be paid. Thank You.
