To the Family of S/Sgt Russell Bott

While cleaning out my Mother's belongings, I found the MIA bracelet of your loved one she wore for years. Our military family lived in South East Asia during the early years of the French Vietnam conflict. Let me know where I could forward his bracelet to the family. Thanks you.

Never Forgotten

I began wearing Russell Bott's bracelet in about 1993. I was teaching a modern American history class in England and,as usual, I always made a point to discuss the human cost of Vietnam not just the politics and then tell Russell Bott's story. This particular year (2003) I had a girl named Kirsty Bott in the class. She went home and told her parents about the lesson and came back the next day with a letter from her mother telling me that Russell was in fact an American relative of theirs. In fact Kirsty's great uncle. You are not forgotten Russell Peter Bott. NH
