Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. It remains my fervent hope you will be returned home after the passage of so many years.

Continuing prayers and insight searches that the DPMO can recover and bring you home to rest. I have met and continue to have deep friendships with your Carroll County area friends, school friends, college friends. Each so dear to my heart and gives me some of your character and personality that warms my heart to know. A big thank you to Arlyn Perkey who wrote a great book dedicated to Don called "Last Known Alive" The Search for SFC Donald L. Sparks WIA MIA POW. My family of brothers has grown big time, and each have a different story, experience, or memory to tell me about you. (Big Hugs to my brothers) One thing we all share in common is that we yearn for your return to rest in peace by Dad and Mom. God Bless you.

Dear SFC Donald Sparks, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Good Friday , and Passover . Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.
