DEAR SPEC 4 BOSWORTH,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS AN INFANTRYMAN. SUNDAY WAS THE 42ND ANNIVERSARY OF PRESIDENT FORD CALLING THIS DAY THE OFFICIAL END TO THE WAR. IF IT WAS ONLY THAT EASY. I AM SO SORRY. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS.

The war may be forgotten but the warrior will always be remembered !!!! All gave Some-Some gave All. Rest in peace Richard. :-(

All I can say is I remember your actions the day you died. Hero doesn't describe what you did. I also think that you were informed or received a picture that week of your new baby, girl I think. As I've lived my life you have also lived thru me. Everyday, everything I do is for all of you heroes. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Dear SP4 Richard Lee Bosworth, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
