honoring you.....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You

Dear Lcpl Harold Sotzen, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Holy Week, and Passover is soon, too. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Semper Fi Jay

You are remembered always brave Marine Harold James “Jay” Sotzen. My name is Andrew Fournier. I went to church with you when we were kids. Your younger brothers Dave and Paul were mine and my brother Mike’s friends. I wanted to let you and your family know you are still in the hearts of many. My family is also a Gold Star family now as we lost our son Nolan as an active service Air Force Airman in 2017. We also currently have a daughter Natalie active in the Air Force and two Marine sons - Nevin and Dustin - your Marine brothers. Thank you forever for your ultimate sacrifice Jay. And God Bless and support your family as they hurt, like my family does when we look back on our loss of Nolan. If you meet Nolan in the after life, please hug him for us. My utmost respect and gratitude to you my friend. Semper Fi.
