Remembering An American Hero
Dear SGT James Ralph Snyder, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

My brother
It's been 47 years since that awful day. I used to get mad at you for going but I have since learned that you would do again if you could. Iam proud to be your sister. I was graduating from high school when it happened and was given my graduation gift from you at your funeral. It's just like yesterday. Iam now 65 years old and have 5 grand kids . I still listen of all the young people who have lost there lives in wars since then and it still brings you back. I love you very much and I know you wouldn't come back to this world if you could .i will see you again some day.????????
