My first love.
We were so young and you were drafted. You told me you probably wouldn't be back and ask me to poor a Strohs on your grave. You were so brave and and answered your call to duty. I have never forgotten you. RIP.
This is the only picture I could find of you from the local newspaper.

Very short time together but you will never be forgotten
I was the new guy in the platoon. I was a shake n bake Sgt with zero time in the field and was given task of squad leader not too long after being with the 3rd platoon. You and I didn't really hit it off right away... my squad and you were the RTO. We did get to know each other in that short period of time and the trust between us was solid. It was a honor to know and serve with you.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear CPL Marvin Dale Snider, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
