honoring you....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your sister Vicki is moving and reflects the anguish experienced by so many families that lost loved ones in this war. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever…

Thank You

Dear Sgt Carl Sneed, Thank you for your service as a Medical Corpsman. Thank you for the lives you saved. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Spring , and Lent. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

My older brother

I remember all to well that day we found out Mike was killed that night before I awoke at 3 in the morning and Mama was ironing clothes! I said Mama what are you doing ironing at this hour? She said I had a bad dream about your brother I had to do something quiet as so not to wake anyone. We cried went to bed and at 6:30am that dreadful knock at the door, my father was at work when he got home walked thru the door he threw his coffee cup across the room "God no not my son!" And so began the loss of life.My mother never recovered from that. But I have great memories of Mike picking me up from work when he got off work at the drive-in, I worked at Cotton's off Admiral Ave in Tulsa, Okla. He would come in at 2:15am and have hamburger steak w/fries and soon 4 of his friends would join in and I, Vicki L Sneed, would serve all of them! And when I got off work he would let me drive his red convertible home to Mingo, with the 8track blasting! I had no license! I really wish he could of met my children, he did however meet my husband of 46 years Gary L. Peters! A blind date back in June of 1967!! And we are still going strong! Hugs and kisses Mike I love you and now you and Mom are together at last, Mom lived for you.
