My Tank Comander
I was there with him the day he got killed. It's bothered me every science. He was a very good man, like a father at times. Only 35 years old at the time. I was 20,now I am 69.But that moment sames like yesterday. Just now found him on the V.N. Wall of faces. I pray God will put him back together one day and reserrect him and he will walk with me on this earth again. I will see you in Paridice my friend. Your tank driver, Carl Sharp 5/24/15

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SSGT Albert Heugh Smith, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

Thank You
I really appreciate all that you did for our country and that is why I am writing this letter to you. That and because me and my class in World History are doing it as a class project. I am grateful for all that you did.
