AWARDED MEDAL OF HONOR
I had the priviledge of serving in Viet Nam with Larry Smedley and the other fine young men of Delta Company.
Larry proudly chose to serve his country at a time when many, including other young men and women of our generation, would elect to denounce that service.
In doing so they shamed only themselves.
God bless Larry Smedley. We who knew him and we who served with him, however briefly, were honored beyond measure.
