Thank You
Dear Lt Donald Small, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Winter will end soon, and Lent has begun. Time moves quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

A company 2BN 9 Infantry.
1968 Tet, MLK, Kennedy, and you. I arrived the day after you were killed. There were not a lot of non white commission officers and the men spoke of a it loss being you. I graduated from Davis the year after you. I witnessed soldiers crying.
You name will live on the wall forever.
