Continuing to honor Captain Sittner, and his service to the United States of America.

I was a 22 year old returning USAF verteran from four year commitment, and enrolled at Kent State University. Rented a room on Crain Ave. in Kent in September, 1956 with another AF vet from Warren... Ron was in the same house, had a hard top convertible and peeled tires....drove fast. He left school early, went to flight school and I lost touch
until I read that his remains had been found. Recall that he had a sister in Cleveland.

I bought this a long time ago. I am not a vet myself, but am honored to note that you are now Major Sittner. I have prayed for you and your family for years. You remind me to be grateful for my navy pilot brother came home safe.

This Memorial Day 2022 I will think of you and honor you for your service to your country. You gave the ultimate, your life. How very much my heart misses you and still treasures the beautiful memories we shared as brother and sister. The loss of you gets harder every year. See you again dear brother.
