Photo remembrance of Robert John Sires
Photo was taken from the historic book “THE FACES BEHIND THE NAMES - The Vietnam War” with the permission of author Don Ward. Thank you Mr. Ward.
You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in peace and honor Robert.

Forty years
I stand to honor the service and sacrifice of Bob Sires. Born and raise within a faith that he could have claimed Objector status, but didn't. Gave his life as a medic during the battle of Black Virgin Mountain, Tay Ninh Province.
Gone from this earth a lifetime too soon; forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Not forgotten
Robert, Although we never met, I just want you to know you are not forgotten. You gave the ultimate sacrifice, your life for what you believed in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you for protecting the freedoms we have today.
