Say not in grief he is no more, but live in thankfulness that he was.

Michael Eugene is who I was named after. He is my namesake. My late father, J.C. Sims (USN WWII) named me after him for he loved Michael Eugene very much. I hold his memory very near to me, and I am very thankful for his sister's Michelle work on the Sims family genealogy.

Dear HA Michael Sins, Thank you for your service as a Hospital Apprentice with the 1st Marines. Semper Fi. Thank you for the lives you saved. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Presidents' Day. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I never knew you, but came to know and love your mother so very much. She loved you so much. There was never a time that you didn’t come up in our many conversations. I came to see your memorial and did some etchings while we were in DC. The wall is such a beautiful memorial. While I miss your mother, Cherry, so very much, I know that she is once again with you and that brings me peace. Thank you for your sacrifice. You will always be remembered.
