Thank you & Name sake
Michael Eugene is who I was named after. He is my namesake. My late father, J.C. Sims (USN WWII) named me after him for he loved Michael Eugene very much. I hold his memory very near to me, and I am very thankful for his sister's Michelle work on the Sims family genealogy.
In gratitude,
Michael Joseph Sims, Th.D.
Eternal rest grant unto him ,oh Lord! And let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace. Amen!

Thank you
I never knew you, but came to know and love your mother so very much. She loved you so much. There was never a time that you didn’t come up in our many conversations. I came to see your memorial and did some etchings while we were in DC. The wall is such a beautiful memorial. While I miss your mother, Cherry, so very much, I know that she is once again with you and that brings me peace. Thank you for your sacrifice. You will always be remembered.
