SSG Sims was an outstanding soldier.
SSG Sims was a soldier in the 2nd Plt, E Co, 187 Inf, 82nd Abn Div, in 1963. It was my privilege to be his platoon leader. He was an outstanding soldier and leader.

Visited his site (section 29, marker 546) at Barrancas National Cemetery, and the graves ofmany others KIA in Vietnam who are buried at Barrancas National Cemetery. His grave was the most adorned grave in Section 29, and my son pulled up his info.
