DEAR PFC BOOMSMA,
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AS RIFLEMAN. SEMPER FI. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE. YOU ARE ALL IN OUR PRAYERS. IT WAS JUST EASTER - GOD'S BLESSINGS ON YOU.

Remembrance of Roger A Boomsma
Roger and I went to school together from middle school where we both enjoyed and help get started pole vaulting at Oak Ave. middle school. He was much better than me and peter Armato who was also a close friend. We also had several classes together and he wrote a note in my year book every year. I have never forgot Roger and what a good person he was. I will always think of him as a friend.
