Thank You
Dear Lcpl Dennis Sietsema, Thank you for your service as a Towed Artillery Systems Tech. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Happy Valentine’s Day. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Dennis Raymond Sietsema, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, Sir
Curt Carter

A friend who gave all for his country
Dennis I still rember you today as vividly as when we were kids. Your wake was the first time I ever cried. When I walked in and saw you lying there with the honor gaurd standing next to your body I came apart which surprised me because I did not think I would. I visted your grave once in Rock Island. Bing Buchanon is trying to get your name added to the veterans memorial in Oak Lawn. When I get up yonder we will have much to talk about.
